This is an early-stage, high-growth environment where engineering excellence is critical. The business is building sophisticated, AI-powered systems used by global organisations and is now looking for a Principal Platform Engineer to take ownership of its infrastructure as it scales.

The Opportunity

This is a senior, high-impact position where you will own the design, build, and evolution of the company’s cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring systems are secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient, while enabling engineering teams to ship quickly and confidently. Working directly with founders and senior engineers, you will play a key role in shaping DevOps, observability, and compliance as the platform grows. This role suits someone who enjoys building from scratch, taking ownership, and operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Skills and experience

• Strong experience with cloud platforms
• Experience working with Terraform
• Strong knowledge working with Docker and Kubernetes
• Database and storage experience
• Strong Python skills
• Proven experience owning infrastructure end-to-end
